I remember the voices and images filling my grandmother’s home in Syria. Black and white television humming, with my Nana swaying gently in rhythm. There are very few if any documentation of these icons in their home, 

This series of drawings re-imagines these icons at home in quiet, unseen moments. It aims to reveal the human side behind the voice.
